Developing life skills through sports.

Reasons why your child should be playing sports- especially today.

Natural stress relief.

There is no doubt that we are living in stressful times and as parents we are doing everything we can to support our children’s emotional needs. Getting outside and playing with peers is an effective way to help them manage stress, develop support systems, and create lasting bonds.

Social skills development.

Our classes are designed to be team focused. First and foremost the kids are taught what it means to be part of team: cooperation, collaboration, communication, leadership, and support.

Self-confidence.

Even at the earliest beginner levels, team sports offer a sense of accomplishment, confidence and self-esteem. As the American Academy of Pediatrics has noted, sports with focus on development and fun instead of winning, helps foster self-esteem in children.

A lifetime of healthy habits.

Physical activity is so important at any age and the physical education offered during the school day is often not enough. Creating positive associations with activities such as sports and exercise will set your child up for a lifetime of health.
